ALPINE COLLECTION OVERHAULED WITH ICONIC STYLES,
GORE-TEX® FABRICS
 |
 |
| Super Pluma Jacket |
Triolet Jacket |
Fall 2011 brings about the most cutting-edge, technical collection of Patagonia Alpine products to date. Classic styles such as the Super Alpine Jacket and Super Pluma Jacket have been resurrected, now
utilizing GORE-TEX® Pro Shell technology, with updated design lines
and cutting-edge features. Features such as a patented Touch Point System™ for embedding all cordlocks and pressed pleat pockets that allow for full visibility to the ground make these styles the absolute
best-in-class. The new Triolet Jacket is engineered with GORE-TEX® Performance Shell fabric, utilizing the most durable nylon face fabrics available. The new Winter Sun Hoody provides windproof warmth by combining a lightweight WINDSTOPPER® Insulated Shell exterior with
100-g Primaloft Eco® insulation.
For the younger, more aggressive core customers and athletes climbing hard routes in remote places, Patagonia will also deliver two new soft shells, built specifically on the needs of our athlete team. With naming inspired by Chouinard Equipment pitons and ice tools, the Knifeblade Pullover and Northwall Jacket are made with Polartec Power Shield Pro® fabric. This fabric package allows for maximum breathability, great
weather protection and incredible abrasion resistance.
All Fall 2011 Alpine styles are recyclable through Patagonia’s Common Threads Recycling Program. |

| Primo Jacket |
Powder Bowl |
The Patagonia Ski/Snowboard line for Fall 2011 gets a complete overhaul with new fabrics, improved fits (longer jackets, slightly more relaxed pants), new features and bold colors. Two and three-layer GORE-TEX® Performance Shell fabrics have been added, including an exclusive recycled nylon-face GORETEX® fabric in the Primo collection. Patagonia’s Powder Bowl products continue to provide durable performance in hard-wearing conditions, and will now feature two-layer GORE-TEX® Performance Shell fabric. Snowshot and Snowbelle products remain a favorite with progressive colors and prints, and a slightly more relaxed fit for this winter season.
The patented new Touch Point System™ will be utilized throughout the entire Ski/Snowboard line, with cordlocks embedded hems and hoods to quickly and easily seal out the elements.
GROUND-BREAKING ULTRALIGHT DOWN PROGRAM EXPANDED, NEW DOWN-INSULATED STYLES ADDED
 |
 |
| Ultralight Down Jacket |
Ultralight Down Hoody |
 |
 |
| Ultralight Down Sweater |
Ultralight Down Shirt |
The Ultralight Down Shirt — the lightest piece of insulation ever made — returns for Fall 2011 in the company of the new Ultralight Down Jacket
and Ultralight Down Hoody. Designed to wear as insulation or as outerwear, these pieces are made with incredibly light and strong
10-denier ripstop nylon and 800-fill-power goose down. Setting a new standard in lofted insulation, the small, innovative channel design allows
for less down to be used, resulting in a lighter jacket that is still incredibly warm. Also new to the Insulation collection is the Hi-Loft Down Sweater,
a super warm 800-fill-power jacket, made from all-recycled materials. The Infant Down Sweater Bunting is the newest member of the Kids’ collection, designed with warmth, layering capability, and diaper-changing in mind.
FULLY REDESIGNED MERINO COLLECTION, BRAND NEW FABRICS ARE 100% CHLORINE-FREE AND RECYCLABLE
Merino wool baselayers return for Fall 2011 and are more durable, more
environmentally friendly and better performing than ever. The new merino is a blend of 80% merino wool and 20% recycled polyester, spun as an intimateblended yarn in which the merino and polyester fibers are combined uniformly. This blend gives the fabric a very high tear strength, doesn’t pill, and is slowwashed to allow for the user to wash and dry the garment without shrinkage. Additionally, this blend creates an optimized moisture management system to keep the user dry. All merino fabrics are bluesign® approved, chlorine-free and come from a traceable group of sustainable farmers in Australia.
MODERN
OUTERWEAR ADDED TO SPORTSWEAR COLLECTION, RETRO COLORS AND PRINTS FOR FLEECE
The Fall 2011 Sportswear collection marries lightweight, waterproof/ breathable fabrics and the highest quality insulation with distinguished, contemporary styles across a range of fits and looks. New men’s styles such as the Doubledown Parka, Isthmus Parka and Box Quilt Jacket combine traditional styling with functionality, and women’s styles such as the Sasha Down Parka, Aliso Down Jacket and Lidia Vest offer up vibrant colors and personality with the absolute best quality materials. Bright, saturated colors adorn the Fall 2011 collection, with inspiration derived from the vintage Patagonia favorites. Outerwear has certainly been expanded for the Fall 2011 season to include parkas, 3-in-1 jackets, fleece and vests, giving the customer a full-spectrum of choices for cold-weather conditions.
The iconic Synchilla Snap-T Pullover and Re-Tool Hoody give a nod to the earlier Patagonia days with vintage prints and retro colors. The environmental impact is low for the season, with all styles recyclable through Patagonia’s Common Threads Recycling Program, well over half of the collection made with environmentally conscious fabrics and 36% made with bluesign® -approved fabrics.
